iMac Dual Booting

As most of you may already know the Macs located in the school can boot both the PC
Operating system (Windows 7), and the Mac operating system (Mac OS X).
Switching between them is easy and you can now use the Mac operating system just as
you would use a PC on the ARGSNET3 network.

To use Lab 119 as a MAC lab:
1. Wake the computer by pressing a key on the keyboard. (If it
does not respond within 10-15 seconds it is powered off. If
this is the case, skip to step 4.)
2. Determine which Operating system the computer is currently
in. If you are prompted with a screen that asks you to press

control+alt+delete then you are currently in Windows Vista.
Proceed to step 3. (If you are not prompted to press
control+alt+delete, you are in Mac OS X and can stop at this step)
3. Restart the computer by pressing and holding the power button on the back of the
computer until it turns off. It will automatically boot into Mac OS X.
4. Follow the login instructions on the screen. You may now use the computer as you
   would any Mac.
