Emergency number procedure for ARGS

Using 999 starts the following phone process:

1. For 10 seconds all the phones in the main office, admin offices, nurse’s office, and the security desk ring.

2. All the phones stop ringing for 2 seconds.

3. For 10 seconds all the phones in the main office, admin offices, nurse’s office, and the security desk ring.

4. All the phones stop ringing and announcement plays “We are now contacting 911”

5. There is a 2 second delay

6. The phone system now will now connect your call to 911

After 4:00 P.M. and before 8:00 A.M. this service will forward to 911 directly with the announcement only.

Notice: If this emergency does not warrant a call to 911 you should hang up during the announcement.

This whole process is approximately 30 seconds from start to finish.
